As a general rule, the workpieces are deposited on a steel segmented belt and then manually destacked. Strothmann also optionally offers automated workpiece destacking. The operator thus no longer has to perform ergonomically problematic work and work with a high risk of accidents due to the workpiece temperature.
Downstream from the press, the automatic finished part destacking system automatically places the finished parts in the containers intended for them. This reduces the number of operators required, thereby also reducing personnel costs. It also improves safety, as there is no longer any contact between personnel and hot and sometimes sharp-edged workpieces. Since our customers’ requirements vary significantly, there is no standard solution. Each destacking system is tailor-made based on the available space, workpieces to be processed, container types, cycle time, etc.
